POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

 Hi, today I’m going to talk about my academic future. I study sociology, I hope to graduate soon from the bachelor’s degree. Afterwards, I want to study a master’s degree or another postgraduate. I’d like to study a master’s degree in environmental sociology, it’s systems theory or something on ecological issues. I’d like to study abroad. I like the idea of studying in Spain, I think because of the language and culture, it is a country closer to Latin America and Chile. I would also like to study in Chile, I like to be able to live in the territory and help its development. I like face-to-face classes a lot better than online calses. I think computer classes are low quality, I like the teacher-student relationship closer. Maybe I think the internet and technology can help the study.  I want to study environmental issues because it is necessary to be able to face the challenges of Climate Change. MY FUTURE JOB

  Hello everyone. Today I will talk about how I want to work in the future. First, I study sociology at the University of Chile, therefore I hope to graduate in sociology as well as positively impact society. Today I study a lot about socio-ecology. I like environmental issues, problems between human and nature. A study on the social construction of the environment from a systemic point of view, but also from a political ecology, how conflict occurs because of how nature looks. For all this, my future work has to be connected to society and the environment. I would like to work with the issues of understanding of Climate Change, adaptation of cities and communities and help in political decision-making with environmental issues. I would like to work with people, in the field, talk with people and discuss with people. I would also like to be a public office and have an important responsibility. This always trying to help the development of society

THE BEST MOVIE/SERIE I'VE SEEN

  Hi, now I’m going to talk about the best movie I’ve ever seen, according to my opinion and my tastes. First of all, I don’t watch a lot of movies in my day-to-day life, so I’m not a movie expert.   However, I like sci-fi movies, history movies and hidden mystery movies. One of the movies I’ve seen and liked the most is "The Interstellar" directed by Cristopher Nolan.   This film is about a voyage of a crew into space, into the universe, with the mission of finding a planet that is habitable by the human species, as the planet Earth is ending. The story is full of scientific explanations, but it also has a family drama between the daughter and the father captain of the crew.  For this reason, the flim talks a llt about the mystery of unknown knowledge, the aventures of space and the love of human relationshipps. It’s a good movie, I highly recommend it

WHAT DO I WANT TO DO AFTER THIS QUARANTINE?

  With the coronavirus pandemic in the year 2020 and part of the year 2021, all of what we were doing was pausing.   Now, meeting friends, girlfriend or family is much more difficult, the possibility of contagion of the disease is always present. I don’t know when this pandemic is over, we’ve still been quarantining the city for a long time some days, and the other days you can’t change and go everywhere without a mask.   People are already tired and in poor mental health. When eveything happens, I want to travel to the sout h of the country, I want to travel to the island of Chiloé, where these great uncles I don´t see for long time.   I want to travel to the sun to see them, but I also want to travel south so I can breathe good air, relax and be with the nature of the south of the country.

THE BEST HOLIDAYS I'VE HAD Puerto Natales

  My best vacation trip was in the summer of 2015, with my mom, brother and grandparents. We went to the city of Puerto Natales, in the Austral area of Chile.   We went because my grandfather lived in that town when he was a kid, he was born there and he was raised there too.   For the same reason, it was a very exciting trip, we went to see the house where I lived as a child, the places where I liked to play, my grandfather was very excited. We also went to other places, Torres del Paine, Punta Arenas and Fort Bulnes.  It was a very good trip, we saw incredible and very beautiful places.   An unforgettable journey.

A COUNTRY I'D LIKED TO VISIT: SPAIN

  Hello, good morning to you. The country I would like to visit most is Spain.   Because I think that the history of this country is fascinating, it is of a long time and it is linked with the history of our country Chile.   I would like to visit Spain to get to know Madrid, Barcelona or Valencia, to visit museums, football stadiums and the great avenues of the cities. I know from Spain that it was a great empire during the fifteenth and eighteenth centuries, responsible for great discoveries and also for great abuses against pre-Columbian peoples.   However, I think this fact makes the country interesting, have an interesting history that you need to know.
